Critical injuries after motorcycle crash at Mount Luke

THE Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a serious motorcycle crash at Mount Luke yesterday which has left a man with life-threatening injuries.

Initial information suggests at 3.15pm, a man believed to be in his 30s, was riding a trail bike in the company of two others on a dirt fire trail within the Geham Forestry Reserve.

The rider appears to have lost control of his bike and crashed into a tree.

The man was transported to Toowoomba Base Hospital with a serious head injury, a fractured right leg and a back injury before he was flown to the Princess Alexandra Hospital.

Investigations are continuing.
