Cyclist attempts theft from drive-thru

POLICE are investigating a BMX rider who attempted to steal alcohol from a drive-thru bottle shop.

The man entered the drive-thru area of a licensed premises in Fitzroy St, Nanango at 3.15pm on Sunday December 2.

The man stole a quantity of alcohol from an external fridge, but dropped the alcohol products and rode away on his bicycle when confronted by staff.

Nanango police are reviewing CCTV footage and the male suspect is described as being aged 25 to 30-years-old and wearing a black t-shirt and black shorts.

Anyone who has information on this suspect is urged to make contact with Nanango police on 4171 6333.
