Dog squad called after woman reportedly stabbed in home

A WOMAN has been rushed to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital with a stab wound to her abdomen as police continue to investigate.

Police were called at about 10.15am to a home in Bluefin Ct, Noosaville, after reports two intruders had broken through the door of the home and stabbed the woman.

Officers are continuing to investigate the reported crime and the dog squad has been called in to assist the ongoing investigation.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman confirmed the woman suffered abdomen wounds, but couldn't confirm how they were inflicted.
