Kingaroy speedway driver airlifted after crash

A MAN was airlifted from the Kingaroy Hospital this morning after a speedway crash.

RACQ CareFlight Rescue airlifted the 25-year-old man this morning after being injured when his vehicle rolled at the Kingaroy Speedway on Saturday evening.

The Central Queensland man suffered suspected spinal injuries and was initially taken to Kingaroy Hospital.

The RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter from Toowoomba's Clive Berghoffer CareFlight Centre send at 9:30am this morning to transfer him to Toowoomba Base Hospital.

He was in a stable condition.
