Driver and passengers flee crashed unregistered car

A DRIVER and five passengers fled a car that crashed into a tree at Collingwood Park this afternoon.

Police say the vehicle had no registration plates attached when it came to grief on Dunlop St about 2.55pm.

The occupants were located a short time later, with one of the passengers requiring treatment for a minor head injury.

That person has since been taken to hospital.
