SPEEDWAY: Drivers and organisers alike are hoping the forecast weather for Kingaroy doesn't eventuate on Saturday night to make way for fast racing at Kingaroy Speedway.

Four classes will battle it out at the last race meeting of the year.

The street stocks will fight for the title of King of Kingaroy.

It will be a hard-fought race, with 28 drivers testing their own limits as well as the limits of their machine.

It will be the last opportunity for modified sedans to familiarise themselves with the Kingaroy track before the prestigious Kings Royal in January.

The class has attracted 28nominees who are looking to take the win.

The junior sedans and lightning sprints will also take it to the track on Saturday.

Late models were set to return to Kingaroy, however due to lack of nominations the club has been forced to cancel the class.

It will be an event for the whole family, with Santa making an appearance at interval to wish everyone a merry Christmas.

Gates open at 2pm, withracing set to start at 4.45pm.
