Driving drunk with kids in the car


A WOMAN driving drunk with a child in the back seat will face the magistrate on March 26.

Police initially stopped the 33-year-old at about 9.10am on March 11 after a check revealed her Holden sedan had false plates.

A road-side breath test returned a reading of 0.076 per cent.

Police also observed a unrestrained four-year-old child sitting on a rear passenger's lap.

Police charged the woman for drink driving, for having a unrestrained child in the car, exceed seating capacity of vehicle and having false plates.
