Driving fail: How not to secure your load

DASH CAM has captured the moment an unsecured load falls from the back of a ute on to a busy Toowoomba street.

The incident happened at the intersection of West and Campbell Sts.

The vehicle fitted with a dash cam starts to slow for a red light ahead before a ute passes it on the right.

By this stage the ute's load, which appears to be a timber cabinet, is being dragged along the road.

The ute's driver may have been distracted by the falling cabinetry as he comes perilously close to running the red light and crashing into a vehicle turning out of Campbell St.

As the vehicle with the dash cam drives off, the occupants of the ute are seen in a panic attempting to pick up the timber mess left in their wake.

The owner of the ute said the load had been secured but the rope had snapped.
