Family preparing to farewell tree fall victim

FAMILY members of Wilsonton man Carl Dawson are preparing to farewell the 39-year-old in the wake of his tragic death.

Mr Dawson died after falling about 10m from a tree in Black Gully Reserve about 4.30am Sunday.

A female companion was unable to resuscitate Mr Dawson, who suffered significant head, chest, neck and back injuries.

He leaves behind five children and one grandchild.
