EDITORIAL: Baby Norah's family having extra special Xmas

FOR many, Christmas is all about family.

It is the one time of the year everyone is able to get together, forget about their worries and celebrate with those closest to them.

That is why today's front page about little Noah Erhardt is such a touching story.

Noah was born a week ago with complications.

He was too sick to go home with his first-time parents Jill Bath and Daniel Erhardt, and had to be admitted to Toowoomba Hospital's special care nursery.

Hospital staff were determined to get Noah home for his first Christmas and yesterday, that was achieved.

He is now a "perfectly healthy baby boy" who is at home with his extended family celebrating the festive season.

Congratulations to Noah's parents and well done to staff at Toowoomba Hospital's special care nursery. You've help make this family's Christmas a little more special.

To all The Chronicle's readers, subscribers and advertisers, we wish you a very happy Christmas.
