February house fire on Macleay Island draws investigation

POLICE are investigating a suspicious vehicle and house fire that occurred on Macleay Island in February.

Around 4am on February 25, a vehicle parked beneath a house on Lemontree Drive was set on fire. The fire then spread to parts of the house causing significant damage.

No one was injured as a result of the incident.

Police are appealing for anyone that may have witnessed the incident or may have any information that may assist with investigations to contact Crime Stoppers.
