Fire crews fight Coast bushland blaze

EIGHT fire crews rushed to a Sunshine Coast property after over half an acre of bushland went up in flames.

Fire crews were called to a Tinbeerwah residence just after 10pm last night, after a Balinese style hut caught alight.

By the time crews arrived, a water tank had been burnt and over half an acre of scrub was on fire.

Eight fire crews rushed to contain the scrub fire, before moving on to the burning gazebo.

Paramedics were also called to the Ashdown Court residence but treated no patients.
