A FUNDRAISING effort is underway after a father and his two young boys were badly burnt in a house fire overnight.

Three LifeFlight helicopters airlifted a father and his two boys, aged three and four, to Brisbane hospitals after the blaze.

The boys have burns to 90 per cent of their bodies.

The older brother, 4, has since succumb to his injuries.

Lisa Jenner from Tara set up the GoFundMe page.

The appeal reads: "Nathan and his two young children have been airlifted to Brisbane in a critical state... so I have set up an account on his behalf to assist him with medical bills, living expenses and replacing the family house and contents that have all been destroyed. As well as help the young family get back on their feet."
