Firefighters working to contain scrub fire

FIREFIGHTERS are working to contain a scrub fire north of Kingaroy.
They were called to the fire at Shailers Rd in Wooroolin at about 10.30am Sunday.
Three crews are on scene and they are being helped by nearby landholders.
A QFES spokesman said the fire was almost under control.
"Crews have contained the southern and western side of the fire and are working on the eastern side,” he said.
