Fireys battle Taabinga blaze
UPDATE 4pm: THREE crews remain on scene following a fire at Coast and Country Bus depot on the Bunya Highway and Pioneer Ave at Taabinga.
A Queensland Fire and Emergency Service spokesman said crews arrived on scene at 3.43pm to a grass fire around an old fuel tank.
Crews worked to protect the bus depot and an old diesel fuel tank.
The spokesman said the fire was extinguished at 3.47pm and crew remained on scene to clean it up.
EARLIER: TWO Queensland Fire and Emergency Service crews are battling a vegetation fire at Taabinga, with a third truck on its way.
The blaze is burning at Bunya Highway and Aerodrome Rd, Taabinga.
Residents are advised to close their doors and windows and keep medication close by if suffering from a respiratory condition.
Motorists should use caution and drive to conditions.
