First artists announced for 2020 Murgon Muster
AFTER a record breaking year, the 2020 Murgon Music Muster looks like it will be even bigger than this year.
The Murgon Rotary Club have confirmed the first artist announcement for next year's Muster.
Headed up by country music stars, Graeme Connors and Felicity Urquhart, the 2020 Muster is sure to bing the swarm of over 350 caravans full of country music lovers back to the region.
Rotary Club chair, Heath Sander said securing these calibre of artists was a long process.
"Initial talks with Graeme started three years ago," he said.
"These artists are highly sort after and they are often booked with other events."
Mr Sander said the fact the event is a big fundraiser for the community is what persuaded Connors over the line.
"I spoke directly with Graeme, he loves what Rotary does," he said.
"He knows what it is all about and he wants to support."
Since Gina Jeffreys rocked the Murgon Muster stage back in 2017, the much talked about South Burnett music event has attracted many household country music names.
"We make sure we look after them when they are here," Mr Sander said.
"We make sure they get spoiled."
The 2020 Murgon Music Muster will run from Tuesday October 27 to Sunday November 1.
Artists all ready confirmed include:
Colt Seavers Band
With many more artists still to be announced.
As well as a very special guest to open the 2020 week-long music event.
"He is not a politician, but he has a lot of influence in politics," Mr Sander said.
Tickets for the 2020 Murgon Music Muster go on sale in early February 2020.
