Girl in hospital after multi-vehicle crash

UPDATE: A girl has been taken to hospital after five people were involved in a two-vehicle crash at Nambour this morning. 

Paramedics rushed to the scene on Bli Bli Rd, Nambour, near the intersection of National Park Rd about 6.31am. 

They assessed the five people in the two vehicles, but all had only minor injuries. 

The girl was taken to Nambour Hospital for observation. 

BREAKING: Paramedics are assessing the injuries of five people after a two-vehicle crash at Nambour. 

Emergency crews were called to the scene on Bli Bli Rd, at the intersection of National Park Rd, about 6.31am. 

On arrival, paramedics reported all five people had freed themselves from the vehicles. 

At this stage, only minor injuries have been reported. 

Motorists in the area can expect minor delays southbound towards Bli Bli following the crash.
