Five things to do this weekend
1. Family fun day
GATHER the whole family and head to the Kingaroy Showgrounds for the South Burnett Community Family Fun Day this Saturday from 9am to 5pm.
Classic cars, markets and jumping castles will keep everyone entertained.
2. Top Gun Challenge
COME and watch the teams of students, teachers, and businesses tackle an obstacle course, as part of the Bill Hull Top Gun Challenge at the Kingaroy Showgrounds on Saturday from 10am to 4pm.
They will have a tug of war and competition to pull a Mazda BT50 ute.
3. Teddy Bears picnic
IF YOU go down to Cheers Triangle on Saturday, you're in for a big surprise.
Bring along a teddy for some fun with Chief the LifeFlight Bear at the teddy bears picnic, held in Kingaroy as part of the South Burnett Family Fun Day from 9am.
4. Cheer on some cyclists
A TRAIN of cyclists will arrive in Nanango on Saturday as part of the Million Metres of MND ride, raising funds for the motor neurone disease cause.
Cheer on the cyclists as they arrive at the Nanango Star Inn at about 4.40pm after leaving Mundubbera that morning.
5. Support your team
WINTER sports have moved into the semi-finals stage of their season and need the crowd support behind them.
Football semi-finals will be held at the Kingaroy grounds on Saturday from noon to 6pm.
Rugby league teams will also be competing in their semi-finals on Saturday.
