1. Dance to Rock and Roll

All weekend

WATERHOLE Rocks will allow the whole family to step back to the 1950s.

Live music, dancing and vintage cars will be on show for the whole weekend at the Nanango showgrounds.

2. Embrace culture

Saturday

NANANGO RSL will be celebrating Oktoberfest on Saturday.

A galore of food, music and beer steins will be part of some of Germany's best cuisine on show.

There will be prizes for those who are best dressed, and the main event of the day will be lunch, however there will be in-theme dinner choices available as well.

3. Head to the tracks

Saturday

LADIES, don your best fasinator and floral outfit for the Wondai races this Saturday.

The first race at the Wondai racetrack will kick off at 1.30pm, with TABs available, the Lady Luck Cocktail bar and a fashions on the field competition.

4. Go for a walk

Sunday

GATHER your friends and join the BIEDO girls for their annual Women in Workshirts Walk.

Women are encouraged to wear their workshirts for the family-friendly walk and morning tea.

They will depart from Wooroolin's Dalton Park at 9am for a 2.5km walk along the South Burnett Rail Trail towards Tingoora.

5. Look to the skies

All weekend

TRY and spot some of the model aeroplanes flying over Booie for the Kingaroy Aeromodellers Society's two-day Model Aero Fly-In, at the KAMS flying field at 844 Booie-Crawford Rd.

Admissions are free, and there will be sausage sizzle and soft drinks on sale.
