Free suicide prevention workshop to help save lives
COMMUNITY members are invited to attend a workshop that will teach them how to identify the signs that someone may be at risk of suicide.
The suicide prevention half-day workshop will be held in Kingaroy on Friday, May 31 from 9.30am to 2pm.
The free workshop will advise participants about the appropriate action to take if someone is showing signs of being at risk of suicide.
Simple, effective interventions can make a difference and save lives.
The training is open to people aged over the age of 18 -and will be held at the Kingaroy Uniting Church at 8 Alford St.
There will be lunch provided during the event which is funded by the Darling Downs and West Moreton PHN.
