SEE ALL THE PHOTOS: Baconeers burn it up on the rail trail

THE entrance to the Kingaroy Rail Trail was littered with bacon inspired outfits at the Rashers Run event this morning.

On Saturday, August 24 competitors hit the track to participate in the various athletic events.

The cyclists took off first with keen runners and walkers following shortly after.

As they crossed the finished line they were all looking forward to a scrumptious bacon and egg sandwich to reward their efforts from the morning.

Check out the action from the BaconFest 2019 Rashers Run event.
