GALLERY: Crafty kids create cute clay critters in Kingaroy

KINGAROY kids explored their creative sides at pottery class at the Kingaroy Regional Art Gallery today.

The session was a part of the gallery's two-month Winter Craft Festival.

Fay Stunn led the class and said it was a huge success despite only having four kids take part.

"We've all had a lot of fun today,” Ms Stunn said.

"The kids learnt a lot and they all made animals using a pinch pots technique.”

Chelsea said she loved learning about creating with clay.

"I've been waiting to do this since I was really little, and now I finally got to,” she said.

Vala agreed: "We just love pottery”.
