A LARGE metal shed has been destroyed by fire at Maleny Dairies.
Up to eight firefighting crews were called to the blaze on McCarthy Rd at 12.23pm.
A Department of Community Safety spokeswoman said urban and rural fire crews were involved.
"It's a metal shed with hay inside. It's well ablaze," the spokeswoman said.
No animals were inside the shed at the time of the fire.
