Giant slide disappoints third weekend in a row
HERVEY Bay slide goers are facing the same three hour delay on O'Shea's Slide City giant slide that left Gladstone disappointed last Sunday.
Today's morning session has not gone ahead as planned and windy conditions have been put forward as the reason for the delay.
Residents are posting on O'Shea's public Facebook event page saying they have been told refunds will be organised for those who missed out.

One resident wrote; "I'm amazed organisers continued with the event as they are well aware of what happened over the past fortnight."
The weekend before the slide came to Gladstone on September 13, it was in Yeppoon where there was also a delay, a lack of water and one lane was not operational for most of the day.
A different company The City Slider will visit Rockhampton on October 3.
