Gina to again sponsor light competition

AUSTRLIAN mining magnate Gina Rinehart will once again donate the prizes for the 2017 South Burnett Christmas Lights Competition.

Mayor Keith Campbell said the prizes were outstanding.

"I am pleased to announce that Hancock Prospecting has once again generously donated the prizes for the South Burnett Christmas Lights Competition,” Cr Campbell said.

"With nomination forms being released in the near future, the residents of the South Burnett Regional Council area will again have the opportunity to share the Christmas spirit.

"The prizes are outstanding, with first and second prize winning a trip to Singapore for a family up to two children aged less than 12 years, thanks to Mrs Rinehart and Hancock Prospecting, who wanted to share the Christmas magic with the South Burnett community.”

Cr Campbell said nomination forms and details about the compe- tition would be available in the coming weeks.

"Keep your eyes peeled to council's website, Facebook and the Times,” he said.

"Previous winners will not be eligible to win one of the major prizes. In this way, others who have not previously won will have the chance to enjoy the prize of a trip to Singapore.”
