McClymonts kick off tour at Muster

SAMANTHA McClymont phoned The Gympie Times from America this week to announce The McClymonts' Australian tour will be kicking off at the Gympie Music Muster in August.

The country music sister act is touring the US, playing at festivals and to industry legends.

After the release of their album, Two Worlds Collide in May, the girls headed off to the US again for three months to perform with some of their favourite artists, including Jason Aldean and Luke Bryant.

Two Worlds Collide is the result of months of song-writing sessions in Nashville during their six-month touring schedule around the US last year.

The girls wrote or co-wrote every song on the album and worked with three master producers to bring the album to life.

In America they are still promoting the Wrapped Up Good album and are looking to release Two Worlds Collide early next year there.

"We are so pumped up about coming home and hitting the road with the new album in August," they said.

Samantha said they were particularly excited about performing at the Gympie Muster again after growing up with the festival as an annual event on the calendar.
