RURAL fire crews brought a vegetation fire that broke out at Blackbutt this morning under control in less than half-an-hour.

The half-a-hectare burn was reported at 10.30am and by 11am three crews had the fire in hand and were mopping up the area.

The fire broke out at Hart Rd 1km from the Blackbutt show grounds.
