Gun licence applications now online

FUTURE gun-owners now have the option of applying for a weapons licence online.

In an Australian first, Queenslanders are able to complete, submit and pay for their weapons licence and permit applications online.

Applicants are still subject to the same criteria and must produce 100 points of identification.

The weapons application can be accessed through www.police.qld.gov.au.
