Head gear may help Rose to play for Central Coast
DESPITE suffering a knock to the head during last week's 2-1 win over Sydney FC, Mariners left-back Josh Rose could play against the Victory at AAMI Park tonight ... in protective head gear.
Rose's teammate Storm Roux, who played for New Zealand against Japan in a friendly in Tokyo on Wednesday night, is also a possible starter.
Experienced campaigners Nick Montgomery and Matt Simon will return to the Mariners' squad after a week off, while Eddy Bosnar (groin) will miss out.
Meanwhile, 17-year-old attacking ace Dejan Pandurevic - a member of the Mariners' National Youth League squad - will follow in the footsteps of former Central Coast star Tom Rogic this weekend.
Pandurevic has travelled to England to take part in the three-day Nike Chance Global Showcase in Birmingham, featuring some of the world's best unsigned players.
