Hockey mask-clad man tries to break into Kingaroy business

POLICE are searching for a man in his 50s after he attempted to break into a Kingaroy business last week.

On Friday November 30 at 4.10am, an offender wearing a hockey mask unsuccessfully attempted to pry open a change machine in an unattended Youngman St business.

The man sprayed paint on one security camera before removing the mask.

Unfortunately for the masked man, he was still identifiable.

The offender is described as having a slim build, approximately 50-55 years, scruffy grey beard and short hair wearing a green rain vest, black pants and thongs.
