'Holy sh--': Kingaroy woman becomes millionaire overnight

A KINGAROY woman was shocked to discover she had become a millionaire after winning more than $1.4 million in Saturday Gold Lotto.

The South Burnett resident held one of the 14 division-one winning entries in Saturday's Gold Lotto Draw 3963.

Each of the 14 division-one winners took home a prize of $1,428,571.43.

The winner, who wished to remain anonymous, was ecstatic when she heard the news.

"Oh my god! Oh my god," she screamed.

"What the hell? Can you repeat that to my family?

"Wow! Are you sure?

"Holy sh--, I am shocked.

"I'm a millionaire? That is amazing.

"I had no idea this is what you were calling about. This is ridiculous.

"I can't wait to tell the rest of my family."

When asked how she planned to enjoy her prize, the ecstatic woman said although she needed time to think, she did have a few ideas.

"God, I have no idea what I am going to do with it. I really need to think," she laughed.

"I want to pay my house off and I'd love to go on a holiday to New Zealand."

The woman purchased her winning entry at Robinson's News & Gifts in Kingaroy.

Owner John Robinson said he was thrilled to have made one of his customers a millionaire.

"It's been fantastic," he said.
