SUZANNE Koy is hoping for a New Year baby tonight.

Mrs Koy was due on the December 27 but is five days overdue.

She said her four and a half year old daughter Lilly-Rose was also six days overdue.

Lilly- Rose will be receiving a younger brother, whose name hasn't been decided yet.

"My husband likes Brayden," she said.

She said had a scare this morning and thought it was time.

"I did think it was happening, thought everything was in full swing, but it was a false alarm," she said.

She said it would be "cool" to have the first baby born in the New Year, or even in Kingaroy.
