How to have your say on rural palliative care

RURAL communities are encouraged to have their say on palliative care services in their regions.

Palliative Care Queensland wants to hear from people with knowledge and experiences of palliative care services in regional and rural Queensland.

PCQ especially wants input from health professionals, health consumers, carers, community groups, community service providers and volunteers.

The survey will help determine what services and supports are available, what services and supports are needed, what are some opportunities for improvement and what are the recommended priorities.

The survey results will be unidentifiable and collated into a Palliative Care in Queensland, Regional and Rural Services 2019 report for Queensland Health.

PCQ has received funding from Queensland Health to provide this report.

Anyone interested in having their say on palliative care services can access the survey here.
