How you can support Kalila's campaign

THE Vukelic family are inviting the South Burnett community to join Kalila's quest for a smart pup.

Kingaroy State High School Year 9 student Kalila Vukelic has a severe disability called Rett Syndrome.

Kalila's family and school are on a quest to raise the $20,000 required for a specially trained dog who will alert her when a seizure is coming, comfort her and assist with her mobility.

Community members can donate to Kalila's campaign by visiting her page at www.smartpups.org.au/campaigns/kalilas-smart-pup/.

People can also visit the smart pups website and click on the red donate button. They must mention their donation is made in honour of Kalila Vukelic in the comments box.

Supporters of Kalila can also donate via direct deposit. They can send the money to 'Smart Pups Westpac' with a BSB of 034198 and ACC of 415185. Use the reference 'Kalila Vukelic.'

The family encourages different community groups to take on the challenge of raising some funds for Kalila's campaign.
