Indigenous spending focuses on NT
THE vast majority of funds for Indigenous affairs will continue to be spent in the Northern Territory.
Some $5.2 billion was allocated to closing the gap on Indigenous disadvantage, $3.4 billion of which will be spent in the NT, while $43 million will be spent on essential services in Aboriginal communities outside the Territory.
Another $11.8 million will extend the Cape York Welfare Reform Trial.
