Investigation into shots fired into motor vehicles overnight

AN INVESTIGATION is underway into shots fired at two motor vehicles last night.

Detectives from Emerald CIB are investigating after two vehicles were damaged overnight.

Around 10.30pm, police were called to a Carbeen Street address following reports that gun shots were heard.

On arrival, two vehicles situated in the driveway of a residence discovered to have damage which was believed to have been caused by a firearm.

No one was injured as a result of the incident.

Police investigations are continuing.
