It's Play School, in Kingaroy
ONCE upon a time, the Kingaroy Kindergarten Association turned 40 and planned a celebration for the whole South Burnett community.
For the third time ever, the Play School concert is coming to Kingaroy.
Play School Once Upon a Time will be held at Kingaroy Town Hall on Monday, June 25.
President of the Kingaroy Kindergarten Association Sherree Ruskin said they had been trying to take part in Play School's yearly tour for the past three years.
"Sometimes you have to be patient and wait for that perfect timing,” Ms Ruskin said.
She said the timing had worked out well since it was the kindergarten's 40th anniversary.
"It's just reminding people that small, community kindergartens are able to provide something special for the little ones.
"Living so far from the city, we don't often get opportunities like this.
"It's a way of promoting and bringing something to the community that will benefit all of the family.”
The concert has had a change of venue and is going to be held at the Kingaroy Town Hall.
