Kingaroy man charged for possessing a weapon

ON WEDNESDAY at 1pm Kingaroy Police on patrol in Haly St had reason to speak to an 18-year-old Kingaroy man.

After a search, police allegedly found the young man to be in possession of a knife.

He had no lawful reason to possess a knife in a public place.

The Kingaroy man will appear in the Kingaroy Magistrates Court on May 7 charged with possessing a knife in a public place.
