Kingaroy police seize cannabis plantation
KINGAROY Police have seized more than 70 cannabis plants in a raid this morning.
Detective Sergeant Dane Sheraton said 72 plants "ranging in size from quite small to 3m" were taken from a property about 10km south of Kingaroy.
Officers charged a 58-year-old man with one count of producing dangerous drugs and one count of possessing a dangerous drug.
He is due to appear at Kingaroy Magistrates Court on April 4.
Sgt Sheraton said the raid "comes as part of our relentless crack down on drugs in the South Burnett".
He urged if anyone in the public knew of any drug dealings to phone Kingaroy Police on 4160 4900 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
