THREE people have a date with the Kingaroy magistrate after separate police searches uncovered small quantities of marijuana last week.

The first dangerous drug charge was laid on Tuesday, July 2 after officers pulled over a Holden sedan that was driving along Dookuna St at 8pm.

After a standard vehicle search, they allegedly found a small amount of marijuana on one of the car occupants, a 28-year-old Kingaroy man.

He will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on July 29, charged with possessing a dangerous drug.

A similar situation unfolded two nights later on Friday, July 5, when officers pulled over a Nissan station wagon on Baron St at 7.45pm.

After a vehicle search, officers allegedly found a small amount of marijuana on one of the car occupants, a 20-year-old Inverlaw man.

He will appear at the Kingaroy Magistrates Court on August 19, charged with possessing a dangerous drug.

At 8.30pm on the same night, Kingaroy police approached a woman on Haly St who was allegedly in possession of a small amount of marijuana.

She will appear at the Kingaroy Magistrates Court on August 19, and has been charged with possessing a dangerous drug.
