Kingaroy school takes on colour fun run

THE community is invited to join St John's Lutheran School's Colour Fun Run tonight.

Run by the school's P&F Association, burgers and a sausage sizzle will be available from 5pm on Friday November 2.

Prep to Year 4 students and their caregivers will head off at 6pm for their colour war and will make their way around the oval for as many laps as they want in the half-hour.

Year 5 students to adults will then take their turn in the colour run at 6.45pm

Volunteers will throw coloured powder at the participants as they manoeuvre through the obstacles.

The event's emphasis is on the 'fun,' rather than the 'run' so participants may complete as many or as little laps as they wish.

Participants may register and pay the $10 entry at the event, which includes a bag of colour and the entry fee.

Lollies, glow sticks and coloured powder can be purchased at the event for $3.

Families can also have fun before and after their colour fun run at the photo booth, for $2 per photo.

For more information contact the St John's Lutheran School Kingaroy P&F Facebook page or email sjlspf@gmail.com.
