Kingaroy's very own amazing race is back

IF YOU happen to see people running a three legged race, with no competition around the streets of Kingaroy this weekend, they're not crazy.

The Kingaroy Amazing Race is back and this time it's mental.

Cardio Central held the first amazing race in March this year to raise money for charity.

But it was so popular with more than 30 teams, and "such a blast" organiser Laila Gordon has decided to do it again.

Only this time, the clues will be harder and the sabotage more extreme.

"The clues are harder to decipher this time. They are more mentally challenging than physically," Ms Gordon said.

Cheating is fine but any team caught doing so will be punished.

"Last time we tied peoples ankles together to slow them down after they were caught cheating."

Two teachers from Kingaroy State High School were the winners last time.

And they are looking to keep their title.

Think you can beat them?

Meet at Cardio Central Kingaroy, 1.30pm Sunday to register your team and take down the teachers.

The amazing race is family friendly.

Contact Laila Gordon for more information on 0418 194 755.
