The Australian pop superstar serenaded the crowd with a repertoire of her biggest hits at the Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel in Oslo, Norway, during the annual event celebrating this year's winning nominee, the European Union.

Actors Sarah Jessica Parker and Gerard Butler - who both have strong human rights connections - were chosen to co-host the glamorous ceremony.

The 'Sex and The City' star has taken part in numerous anti-war rallies, while handsome Scottish star Gerard was a practising lawyer in Scotland before finding fame in romantic comedies.

Sarah, 47, enthused: "It's such a privilege to be part of this year's Nobel Peace Prize Concert.

"I am honoured to be sharing the stage with such amazing performers to promote the power of peace around the world."

The £1.2 million Novel Peace Prize was granted to the 27-nation EU, who have "for over six decades contributed to the advancement of peace and reconciliation, democracy and human rights in Europe".

Sarah said she believed the EU was a deserving winner and hopes its work will serve "a terrific blueprint" of peace and unity for the United States.
