Madonna made Rita Ora kneel before her

RITA Ora was forced to kneel before Madonna in order to speak at her best angle during their first encounter.

The 25-year-old pop star first met the legendary singer at a charity concert in London in 2013 and has revealed the unusual circumstances surrounding their conversation, which saw Rita go down on her knees.

The 'Body On Me' singer said: "I was waiting in the room and Madonna walks in with the lighting - how major is that?

"We say hello and then she's like, 'This isn't working, can we just kneel down on the floor?' So I knelt down and we had the whole conversation because the lighting was better."

Despite this, Rita insisted she does not worry about what other people think and say about her own behaviour.

The outgoing star told Metro newspaper: "At the end of the day, there's going to be judgements on anything that you do in any kind of aspect and it just comes back to your security.

"I know who I am, I know my fans, I know the records I sell, I know what I do and what I desire and if that's not getting tarnished then I'll do what I like."
