Man airlifted after serious accident

A MAN has been airlifted to Toowoomba hospital from Kingaroy this afternoon after a serious motor vehicle accident.

The man was treated on the scene with lower leg injuries by Queensland Ambulance Service paramedics, before being taken to the Kingaroy hospital.

The traffic crash occurred in Murgon around 10am this morning, along the Bunya Highway and Silverleaf Road.

Paramedics attended to two patients at the scene and transferred one patient to the Kingaroy hospital and the other to the Murgon hospital with minor chest injuries.

He was airlifted by the Toowoomba-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter in a stable condition, according to Life Flight.
