Kingaroy man accused of knife threats to face court

A MAN who allegedly threatened people with a knife in a Kingaroy home has been arrested and charged.

Police responded to reports of a disturbance in a home in Markwell St, Kingaroy at about 6.40pm yesterday evening.

It is alleged a man with a knife was making threats against other people.

A 20-year-old Kingaroy man was arrested and charged with common assault, wilful damage and threatening violence.

He is scheduled to face Caboolture Magistrates Court this morning.
