Man allegedly robbed in a shopping centre restroom

POLICE have charged a man following investigations after an elderly man was allegedly robbed and assaulted in Chermside on March 10.

It will be alleged the man was robbed in a restroom at a shopping Centre on Gympie Road around 1pm with his watch and wallet stolen.

A 22-year-old Beerwah man has been charged with robbery with violence, seven counts of fraud and one count of possessing dangerous drugs. He is expected to appear at the Maryborough Magistrates court today.
