Man armed with machete and axe charged in Kingaroy
A KINGAROY man will face court tomorrow after allegedly entering a property armed with an axe and machete.
Police will allege the man entered the front yard of a Railway Tce property around 12.50pm today.
He was witnessed by residents, allegedly holding an axe and a machete.
When challenged by the residents, the man allegedly fled along Gladys St and was located a short time later on Kingaroy St.
Police found the weapons nearby.
The 32-year-old man has been charged with going armed so as to cause fear, assault and trespass.
He is due to appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court tomorrow.
