Man charged with four weapons offences

POLICE investigating the death of a woman in Brisbane on Sunday night have charged a Woodridge man with weapons offences.

The 26-year-old woman was reportedly shot in the head at Rochdale South just after 8pm on Sunday.

Investigators are treating the woman's death as suspicious.

On Monday night they charged a 29-year-old man with four counts of unlawful possession of weapons.

He was expected to appear in Beenleigh Magistrates Court on Tuesday.

The investigation into the woman's death is continuing.
