Man faces drink driving charges

A DRIVER has been charged with driving a motor vehicle over the general alcohol limit, but not over the middle alcohol limit.

The 44-year-old Nanango man was driving along Kingaroy Cooyar Rd, Maidenwell, when Nanango police officers intercepted his vehicle for a roadside breath test on Friday, February 8, at 8.15pm.

He tested positive and was transported to Nanango Police Station where he returned a reading of 0.091 per cent BAC.

The man will appear in Nanango Magistrates Court on April 5.
